Supernova 2018cuf: A Type IIP Supernova with a Slow Fall from Plateau

We present multi-band photometry and spectroscopy of SN 2018cuf, a Type IIP ("P" for plateau) supernova (SN) discovered by the Distance Less Than 40 Mpc survey (DLT40) within 24 hours explosion. 2018cuf appears to be typical SN, with an absolute $V$-band magnitude $-$16.73 $\pm$ 0.32 at maximum decline rate 0.21 0.05 mag/50d during plateau phase. The distance object is constrained 41.8 5.7 using expanding photosphere method. use spectroscopic photometric observations from first year after explosion constrain progenitor both hydrodynamic light curve modelling late-time modelling. was most likely red supergiant about 14.5 $\rm M_{\odot}$ that produced 0.04 0.01 ^{56}Ni$ also found $\sim$ 0.07 circumstellar material (CSM) around needed fit early curves, where CSM may originate pre-supernova outbursts. During phase, high velocity features \sim 11000\ km~s^{-1}$ are detected in optical near-infrared spectra, supporting possibility ejecta were interacting some CSM. A very shallow slope post-plateau phase observed it due low degree nickel mixing or relatively mass SN.
